Russell Dinkins and James Cole – Race, Black Live Matter, and How to Make a Difference in a Digital World

Russell Dinkins was a track star at Princeton University. When the Brown University Track program was at risk of being defunded last month, Russell rose to their defense. His medium article went viral (Malcolm Gladwell and others getting behind it) and though he modestly asserts that his writing was only the beginning of the efforts that turned the tide, Brown University quickly and publicly reversed their decision – reinstating the Brown Track program (the team with the 2nd most athletes of color on campus).
